We're building the future of healthcare payments. Claimyx is a healthcare fintech SaaS startup automating claims processing and RCM workflows. We're tackling one of the most complex problems in healthcare - making the financial side actually work.

The Role

You'll architect and build the core backend systems that power our platform. Think microservices processing millions of healthcare transactions, complex ETL pipelines connecting disparate healthcare systems, and APIs that need to be rock-solid reliable. This isn't CRUD - it's solving real distributed systems challenges in a heavily regulated industry.

What you'll actually do:

• Build scalable microservices on modern cloud infrastructure
• Design APIs and integrations with healthcare platforms, payment processors, and banking systems
• Architect data pipelines that handle high-volume transaction processing
• Own features end-to-end, from backend to occasional frontend work
• Work with cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems
• Ensure HIPAA/SOC2 compliance (we'll help you learn this)

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of solid backend/full-stack development experience
• Strong fundamentals in any modern programming language (Python, Node.js, Java, Go, etc.)
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud platforms
• You care deeply about code quality, testing, and system design

Bonus points:

• Healthcare or fintech experience
• Experience building intensive data-driven, highly scalable systems
• Understanding of compliance requirements
• Early-stage startup experience
