About You

You are a Growth Marketer looking to join a fast-growing startup. You are a self-starter and autodidact, willing to experiment with different marketing channels and growth tactics. As one of the first employees, you will have many opportunities to impact the product direction, develop your skills, and take on leadership roles if interested.

Responsibilities

• Meta Campaign Management: lead the planning, execution, and optimization of meta campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Email Communication: create ongoing and ad-hoc email campaigns to re-engage existing audiences and create more conversion opportunities.
• Social Media & Community Management: engage with our community across social media and other platforms, fostering meaningful interactions, addressing customer inquiries, and cultivating brand advocacy.
• App Store Optimization (ASO): implement ASO strategies to optimize visibility and conversion rates for our mobile applications on app stores, ensuring our products are well-positioned and discoverable.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, keyword rankings, and overall search engine visibility for our website and digital content.
  
  

Experience And Qualifications

• At least two years of Marketing Experience: Proven track record in consumer-focused marketing roles, ideally within B2C industries such as gaming or education.
• Performance Marketing Expertise: Experience in data-driven performance marketing, with a strong understanding of metrics, analytics, and campaign optimization.
• Digital Marketing Proficiency: Solid grasp of Meta campaign management, ASO techniques, SEO best practices, and community management strategies.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret marketing data, derive insights, and make informed decisions to enhance campaign performance and ROI.
• Native/Bilingual English Proficiency

Zoog is a TLV-based startup creating a new format of asynchronous content-based communication . Founded by two parents who realized during COVID just how frustrating video communication with kids is. We see storytelling as a way to communicate with young children, create a bond with them and be part of their development. We want to give distanced family members the opportunity to be part of that. We looked at what’s out there and learned that simply showing a digital version of a printed book like most online reading apps does not work well on mobile and simply cannot compete with the types of content kids are exposed to these days. We decided to give our beloved kids classics a face lift and make them personal by making the reader the star of the show.

Founders are veterans in the tech world, Matan (CTO) brings years of experience from working in early stage consumer startups, as a first or second employee focused on development and product management of applications that reached millions of users. Matan is also an alumni of the Zell Entrepreneurship program at the IDC. Yoav (CEO) has spent the last 5 years at SimilarWeb, where his last position in the company was COS, where he worked hand in hand with the CEO and the entire leadership team. Prior to that, he ran SW’s China operations. He has lived and worked in China, US, and Israel and holds an MBA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a BA from Columbia University.
