Out for Change, an NGO supporting individuals transitioning from the Haredi community into Israeli society, is seeking a CIO to lead our technological strategy and operations.
Role overview:
The CIO will be responsible for defining and implementing the organization’s technology roadmap, including IT infrastructure, information systems, cybersecurity, CRM/ERP platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the organization’s technology strategy
- Oversee infrastructure: networks, servers, cloud, backups, permissions, and communications
- Lead implementation and integration of CRM/ERP and additional systems
- Manage information security policies and compliance
- Develop data management and BI capabilities to support decision-making
- Introduce and implement innovative technologies (AI, automation)
- Manage vendors, budgets, and provide high-quality support to staff and volunteers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT/IS management and organization-wide projects
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure, security, and data management
- Proven track record in CRM implementation and integrations
- Experience with AI/automation solutions
- Relevant academic degree
- Advantage: experience in the nonprofit/public sector
Position details:
- Full-time, reporting to the CEO and part of the management team
- Hybrid: 3 days/week in Tel Aviv office
