Reinforcement Learning MSc/PhD Student Job description:The Land division of Elbit Systems provides integrated solutions to the defense sector, and is a major part in ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens and defense forces. At the AI and Algorithms Group we develop cutting edge algorithms for a wide range of systems, from autonomous vehicles to drones and more. We tackle problems in the areas of 3D-perception, computer-vision and decision making, using Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning methods. We are looking for a graduate student to join us in developing decision-making algorithms for a range of projects. We are interested in someone with a good understanding of dynamical systems, planning, optimization, machine-learning and reinforcement learning. Responsibilities:Develop algorithms to solve real decision-making problems for autonomous systems using Reinforcement Learning, Imitation Learning, Planning and Optimization methodsContribute to infrastructure for machine learning pipelinesIntegrate solutions in physical systems and verify them in testsTake part in research projects aimed at developing novel methods for future applications Requirements:Currently a MSc\PhD student in CS\EE\Related fieldStrong knowledge in Reinforcement LearningProficiency in Python and PyTorchKnowledge in Planning and Optimization – Advantage The job is in Yokneam, north of Israel
