Process Operations Manager – Dairy Manufacturing

We are looking for a skilled and driven Process Operations Manager to lead the process department at our dairy production facility. This role includes managing the control room, milk reception and pasteurization, and the milk powder drying plant. The manager will be responsible for meeting production goals while ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all process operations including control room, milk reception, pasteurization, and drying systems.
• Lead production planning and execution according to defined quality and quantity metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Define and implement work procedures to maximize efficiency and maintain high supply levels.
• Drive LEAN methodology implementation and sustainment across all departments.
• Manage and develop operational teams including onboarding, training, certification, and internal mobility.
• Monitor performance indicators and ensure achievement of plant goals.
• Optimize resource utilization and lead initiatives to reduce liquid and fat losses.
• Collaborate with internal and external interfaces to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (required); preferred fields: Food Technology, Economics, Engineering, Industrial Management.
• Master’s degree – an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams – required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing large-scale projects and complex processes in manufacturing – preferred.
• Strong English skills (reading, writing, speaking) – required.
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel – required.
• Experience with control systems and HMI platforms – required.
• Background in dairy or food industry and familiarity with raw milk handling – strong advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• High analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
• Willingness to work intensively, including irregular hours and Fridays when needed.
