Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer | Lod | IAI – Aviation Group

We are looking for a Process Quality Engineer specializing in special processes to join the Manufacturing Technologies Plant within the Quality Management Division of IAI’s Aviation Group.

The position includes:

• Working in an advanced engineering environment, integrating cutting-edge production lines and participation in high-technology development projects with leading industries

• Conducting failure analyses, identifying root causes, implementing preventive actions, and investigating customer complaints

• Collecting, analyzing, and preparing quality reports

• Leading and participating in MRB review boards

• Creating organizational processes to support and improve quality procedures

• Collaborating with procurement, engineering, production, assembly, and the Civil Aviation Authority

• Supporting production and preparing FAI plans, product audits, and quality system reviews

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering – required

• Proficiency in English (writing, reading, speaking) – required

• Ability to read mechanical drawings – required

• Availability for full-time work and overtime when needed – required

• Experience in production or maintenance environments in industry – strong advantage

• Knowledge and experience in quality assurance – advantage

• Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) – strong advantage

• Familiarity with SP/SE processes – strong advantage

• Knowledge of thermal treatments for aluminum and steel – strong advantage

• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100) – advantage

• CQE certification or certification by the Israeli Society for Quality – advantage

• Ability to work under pressure, professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, and assertiveness
