We’re looking for our first Head of Product to join us at the ground floor.

About the Role

We are looking for our first Head of Product, to set the tone for how a product is built, behaves, released and measured at HiO.

A hands-on PM who can blend strategy and execution with a deep focus on users’ needs . A master in building mass-market end-user products all the way from 0 to 1.

You’re a creative thinker, driven by users and business impact, skilled in researching and analyzing market and users’ needs, intents and business cases. You know how to switch hats between gathering requirements and bringing your own insights and vision to create roadmaps and prioritizing features. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to work well in teams and get things done.

As we shape the foundation of HiO, you will work directly with the CEO and VP R&D to:

• Define our ICP, product strategy and roadmap
• Translate customer needs into AI-powered solutions
• Balance speed, quality, and simplicity in a fast-moving startup

Responsibilities:

• Customer voice: Champion the voice of the user-combining qualitative research, UX best practices, and business context to inform decisions
• Product strategy: Define ICPs, shape product vision, and prioritize the roadmap to balance business impact, user needs, and execution speed.
• Execution: Write specs, manage sprints, and collaborate with R&D to execute self service and quick to onboard Mobile, Desktop and Web products.
• Design: Create and validate simple, conventional UX flows for SMB-facing apps, as well as intuitive back-office interfaces for admins.
• AI-first problem solving: Identify where AI adds value vs. where and how humans should jump into the loop.
• Data-driven decisions: Define tests, data events, KPIs, instrument product analytics, and validate success with real usage data.
• GTM partnership: Partner with GTM to launch GTM motions, enable onboarding, and support customer launches.

Requirements:

• A proven track record of building exceptional, user-centered products in high-growth startups
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset-comfortable shaping vision while diving into product definition, QA, and delivery details.
• Familiarity with PLG products, growth loops, engagement mechanics, onboarding/activation systems, and experience in optimizing funnels and retention
• Strong analytical mindset—comfortable defining, measuring, and interpreting product metrics
• Deep understanding of interaction design, visual design, and UX research, alongside a sharp product and business sense
• Experience with AI/ML products, conversational interfaces, and CX platforms
