Head of SOC & IR

Internet Binat, one of Israel’s top communication and integration firms, is expanding its cybersecurity services by launching a new, innovative managed SOC & IR service built on Exabeam Nova running on Google Cloud.

We’re seeking a cybersecurity leader with a builder’s mindset to own the setup and leadership of this flagship service fully. This is a rare chance to create a SOC/IR operation from scratch, recruit the team, develop methodologies, and influence the future of managed security services in Israel.

 Key Responsibilities:

•  Build from scratch, Design and implement the whole operational framework for a managed SOC & IR service (MSSP).
• Methodology development, write playbooks, define incident response & escalation processes, set KPIs, and deliver actionable business value.
•  Technology leadership: Leverage Exabeam Nova (SIEM, UEBA, SOAR) and integrate with existing automation platforms.
•  Team building & leadership: Recruit, train, and lead SOC analysts (Tier 1–3), developing a professional and self-sufficient team.
•  Strategic customer engagement acts as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, leads IR activities, and presents reports to C-level stakeholders.
• Innovation & culture: Establish a high-standard operational culture with a focus on automation and advanced threat detection.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience managing SOC / IR teams or leading similar security operations.
• Hands-on experience establishing SOC/IR operations or primary cybersecurity services is a must.
• Strong understanding of MSSP business models and multi-tenant environments.
• End-to-end incident response expertise.
• Excellent knowledge of SIEM/SOAR/UEBA platforms; experience with Exabeam is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to design methodologies and processes from scratch.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally to executives and customers.

Professional Certifications :

·      CISSP / CISM: Strong advantage.

• GCIH / GCFA: Advantage.
• OSCP or equivalent: Advantage.

Strong practical experience in SOC/IR leadership may be considered in place of formal certifications.
