Senior DesignOps Specialist (Freelance)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DesignOps Specialist to join the core UX team working on the DAZN product. This is a freelance, part-time role (approximately 4 months), focused on building and scaling design infrastructure that supports a multi-platform product used by millions.

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Build and maintain the design system infrastructure (based on an existing system – no visual design decisions required).

•⁠ ⁠Set up and organize design tokens and component libraries in Figma.

•⁠ ⁠Create documentation and guidelines to ensure smooth handoff to development teams.

•⁠ ⁠Plan and structure components for large-scale, multi-platform usage (web, native, TV).

•⁠ ⁠Implement workflows and automation where relevant to improve efficiency.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate closely with the design team and development teams to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Deep expertise in Figma (advanced components, libraries, tokens).

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of CSS and technical aspects of component systems.

•⁠ ⁠Proven experience building scalable design infrastructures in large organizations.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to think systematically and design processes that work across multiple platforms.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication skills in English, comfortable working with design and development teams.

Team & Culture

You’ll work closely with the design team and collaborate with cross-functional development teams across platforms. The environment is fast-moving but your role will be focused, structured, and delivered against a clear roadmap.
