System/Mechanical Engineer - Medical Devices

We are a startup based in the Haifa District, developing advanced robotic mobility and rehabilitation systems that enhance independence and quality of life for people with disabilities.

Role

We are seeking a System Engineer with mechanical expertise to define system architecture, contribute to product design, and support the development of advanced rehabilitation products.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage system-level requirements
• Support and perform mechanical design when required (using CAD -SolidWorks)
• Collaborate with R&D, QA/RA, and manufacturing teams
• Lead risk management, verification & validation (V&V), and design reviews

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc. is an advantage)
• 2-3 years’ experience in system/mechanical engineering in multidisciplinary medical device development (using SolidWorks/PDM or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Experience with mobility or rehabilitation devices
• Knowledge of medical device standards (ISO 13485, IEC 60601-1, ISO 14971, IEC 62366, IEC 62304, EN 12184, RESNA WC, ISO 7176)
• Familiarity with regulatory submission processes (FDA/CE)
