As a Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding a talented team of engineers while contributing hands-on to designing, developing, and launching new capabilities and features that bring significant value to our customers. Responsibilities and Impact

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Drive the development of complex user workflows using the latest generative AI technologies, enhancing automation and user experiences.
Own the architecture, development, deployment, and testing of event-driven systems and backend services.
Provide technical leadership, ensuring best practices in software engineering, system design, and scalability.
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other stakeholders to define and execute the roadmap.
Make critical, core system technical decisions that impact performance, reliability, and scalability.
Balance hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities to drive the team’s success.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience managing an R&D team
5+ years of experience in complex Backend systems
Strong background in DB architecture, SQL, and data/event pipelines.
Familiarity with the full life cycle of software development, from design, and implementation to testing and deployment
High standards for code quality and a constructive attitude to help others raise the bar.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in generative AI, and an ability to leverage these tools to automate complex processes and workflows.
Experience development SaaS microservices on a cloud based environment.
Experience with Python
Experience with AWS
Experience with event/streaming platforms such as Kafka.
Experience with Docker and K8s
Prior knowledge in fintech technology space
