Financial Controller

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller with 2+ years of experience in global industrial companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial consolidation reporting and hands-on experience with ERP system implementation. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving efficiency through system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Consolidation:

Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for multiple entities in accordance with IFRS/ Local GAAP

Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Collaborate with subsidiaries to gather and verify financial data for consolidation.

2. ERP Implementation and Optimization:

Lead or support the implementation of ERP systems, ensuring integration with existing processes.

Identify opportunities for system improvements and process automation.

Train and support team members in utilizing ERP functionalities effectively.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

4. Compliance and Internal Controls:

Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.

Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to streamline processes.

Provide financial guidance and support to various departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (Must).
• 2+ years of experience in financial reporting and controlling, preferably in global industrial companies.
• Strong knowledge of financial consolidation principles and practices.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (Priority will be a big plus) and their implementation.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
