Role Description

Accountants are entrusted with a client’s financial reporting processes and managing their accounting needs. Accountants provide monthly financial reports and manage the financial accounts that roll up to this report. This includes setting up and rolling forward workpapers and schedules as needed, as well as working with a variety of accounting systems including QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, etc. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.

Responsibilities:

·       Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

·       Reconciling bank and credit card statements

·       Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording and verifying general ledger transactions

·   Perform various balance sheet reconciliations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and benefits, prepaid expenses, and accrued expenses

·       Prepare financial reports

·       Assist with optimizing accounting processes via the use of automation and other systems

·       Assist senior management with the preparation and completion of ad hoc reports

·       Onboard new clients for bookkeeping services

·       Collaborate with team members and clients to resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

·       Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting

·       Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting

·       Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)

·       Excellent analytical and organizational skills

·       Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members

·       Availability for evening meetings to accommodate US hours

·       Expectation to work in-office in Modi'in at least four days a week
