Datacenter Technician

DataCenter Technician | Tel Aviv Israel (5 days a week) | 1 year contract | 900 ILS p/day

Location: Tel Aviv, 5 days a week

Duration: 1 year (possibility of extension)

Rate: 900 ILS p/day

We're looking for a DataCenter Technician to support the operations of our client's datacenter environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install, relocate, and decommission servers, switches, and related hardware.
• Diagnose hardware issues and handle repairs, replacements (RMAs).
• Monitor alerts from power, environment, and infrastructure systems.
• Perform regular checks on HVAC, cabling, fire suppression, and power systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and deployments with IT and facilities teams.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records using asset tools.
• Perform cabling tasks: fiber/copper patching, labeling, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with remote hands tasks and basic system setups.
• Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and escalation procedures.
• Log activities and incidents accurately in ticketing systems.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years in a data center, NOC, or infrastructure support role.
• Basic hardware knowledge (servers, networking, storage).
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux and command-line basics.
• Experience with rack/stack and power/cooling best practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Open to 24/7 shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules.
