Global IS Security Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will shape and strengthen the human side of information security across ABB globally. Each day, you will help reduce human risk by designing and delivering impactful security awareness and education initiatives. You will also showcase your expertise by creating engaging learning experiences, driving behavioral change, and ensuring employees at all levels—from new hires to executives—understand and apply secure practices.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/remote

This role is contributing to the Security Risk and Compliance in Information Systems. Main stakeholders Business Area Security Leads, Function Heads, Division Heads.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Driving global security awareness and education initiatives to reduce human risk and strengthen ABB’s security culture.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining engaging security awareness campaigns and training programs across multiple channels (video, social media, webinars, in-person sessions).
• Innovating new learning solutions to influence secure behaviors and ensure compliance with ABB’s security policies and standards.
• Managing operations, monitoring key metrics, and ensuring continuous improvement of awareness services.
• Leading temporary campaigns, guiding task completion, and sharing knowledge without direct line responsibility.

Qualifications For The Role

• You are highly skilled in security awareness, learning design, and communication strategies, and you enjoy working in the information security domain.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in leading global projects or services, with 5+ years of experience in security awareness, learning & development, e-learning, or communication.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of instructional design, change management, and behavior-shaping techniques, with familiarity in security frameworks and compliance standards.
• You are passionate about clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and driving cultural change across diverse, global teams.
• Degree in Communication, Marketing, Learning & Training, or equivalent practical experience.
• You are at ease communicating in fluent English, with excellent writing, presentation, and training delivery skills.
• (Optional) Certifications in Instructional Design, Project Management, Information Security, or related fields are a strong plus.
