 NRGene’s tools are already used extensively by some of the biggest leading Ag-tech companies worldwide, as well as by some of the most influential research teams in academia.

We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Controller to take a significant role in our finance team. This position will report to the Director of Finance and will take a key part in building and operating the financial closing & reporting processes as well as supporting the ongoing financial and business operation of the company.

Responsibilities:

●Lead the periodic closing, consolidation, and financial reporting process

●Oversee ongoing operational processes such as payroll, bookkeeping, and payments.

●Manage the external accountants of our subsidiaries and oversee their financial processes and periodic results

●Act as a finance business partner to other departments by supporting the procurement procedure, monitoring the budget usage, and addressing ad-hoc business needs.

●Work with external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other economic matters

●Work closely with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes, benefits, and other ad-hoc projects that are related to the company's human capital.

●Support the reporting and compliance requirements of government grants from the Israeli innovation authority and other entities.

●Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and internal controls to comply with legislation

●Manage tax filings and compliance

Our Ideal team member:

●Certified CPA from one of the Big 4 accounting firms - (Experience working with high-tech companies is a plus)

●3+ years of hands-on experience as a controller in a public company - a must

●Experience in managing the Company’s equity (stock option exercises, terminations, RSU releases Etc.)

●Experience with IFRS 16, IFRS 15 ,government grants, and stock-based compensation

●Experience with Priority ERP - a must

●Experience with procurement process management - a plus

●Experience with government grants - a plus

●Superb interpersonal and verbal skills, and is fluent in English

●Hard working, comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment ,and meeting multiple deadlines

●High level of accuracy and attention to detail

●Reliable and able to lead tasks autonomously and collaboratively

●Eager to learn, with a self-motivated personality

●Team player who can also think and work independently

●Highly computer proficient, including advanced capabilities with Excel and PowerPoint
