Charm Security- Principal DevOps Engineer

Full-time position at a startup company in Tel Aviv, on a train line.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience working on high-scale distributed systems OR as an Infrastructure, Platform, or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with different clouds (Atleast 2) - AWS / GCP / Azure
• Experience with on premise installations / bring your own cloud
• Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure in cloud environments.
• Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud-based systems.
• Kubernetes Expertise: Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and main flows, including troubleshooting and optimization.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Extensive experience with Terraform (or equivalent IaC tools) for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborative in a Small, Fast-Paced Team: Comfortable working in a small, dynamic team, taking ownership, and wearing multiple hats when needed.
• Fun & Positive Attitude: A great team player - someone who makes work enjoyable and contributes to a positive culture.

Advantage:

• AI & LLM Integration: Familiarity with AI frameworks, LLMs, and their integration into platform systems. Understanding of how to optimize, deploy, and maintain AI-based services while addressing potential operational challenges.
• Networking: deep knowledge of cloud networking, VPCs, and service discovery.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong ability to write automation and maintenance scripts using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
