Process Engineer (North)

Syqe is a med-tech company developing technologies that enable the precise delivery of a wide range of therapeutic molecules by inhalation. Utilizing its breakthrough technology, Syqe aims to relieve the suffering of as many patients as possible in the fastest possible way.

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our manufacturing site in the north. The role includes optimizing production processes, supporting validation activities, and ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and support process experiments on the production line.
• Analyze process and quality trends, investigate systemic failures, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
• Initiate and/or support engineering changes in the line: design, process, components, or equipment (ECO).
• Perform process validations on the line (and support mechanical validations).
• Define parameters and implement improvements.
  
  

• Review and draft technical documents such as engineering rationales, Work Instructions (WI), Master Batch Records (MBR), protocols, and investigations.
• Update process documentation and engineering documents.
  
  

• Provide initial engineering response to any production issue (mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems, breakdown maintenance, deviations, NCRs, etc.).
• Serve as a knowledge resource and mentor for the line team in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Update engineering status of production lines (readiness, malfunctions, trials, and recommendations).
  
  

• Daily collaboration with the production line engineering department.
• Frequent interaction with Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams.
• Support technician training and operational knowledge management.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering / Industrial Engineering & Management – required.
• Proven experience in a similar role within an industrial manufacturing environment – required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Priority ERP, and data analysis tools.
• Experience working with quality documentation, engineering procedures, and operational tools.
• Strong teamwork abilities, excellent interpersonal communication, and high-level professional documentation skills.
• On-site presence in Tiberias, five days a week, 07:00–16:00 (occasionally until 19:00) **
