We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Web Editor to manage and grow a dynamic online news platform focused on international affairs, economy and security.

The ideal candidate combines strong editorial judgment with technical proficiency and AI-assisted content workflows. You will oversee the daily publication cycle, ensure accuracy and clarity across all articles, and coordinate with writers, analysts, and content producers to maintain high editorial standards and timely publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily publication of articles and multimedia content.
• Edit and approve stories before publication.
• Maintain a consistent editorial tone and voice aligned with the platform’s mission.
• Coordinate with contributors, and analysts to meet deadlines.
• Manage content through CMS platforms (WordPress).
• Ensure SEO optimization, proper tagging, and user-friendly formatting.
• Monitor site performance, layout, and technical issues in collaboration with developers.
• Integrate AI-based analytics and monitoring to improve content relevance and engagement.
• Identify trending topics and emerging narratives relevant to our audience.
• Manage the social media of the platforms to align website strategies.

Requirements

• Native / Professional level English speaker.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, or Communications.
• Proven experience managing or editing a news or opinion website.
• Excellent writing and copy-editing skills with attention to accuracy and style.
• Strong understanding of global affairs, politics, and media ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress.
• Familiarity with AI content tools for text, image, or video generation.

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media integration.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Descript.
• Basic web design knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate with multilingual teams and manage translation workflows.
