Senior Development Engineer

Senior Development Engineer | Ashdod, Israel | IAI ELTA Systems

We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to lead a central cross-organizational development project within our Engineering and Systems Division at ELTA.

The position includes:

• Leading a team of hardware and FPGA development engineers

• Defining and specifying hardware architectures

• Managing efficient hardware development processes with a focus on quality, schedules, and product cost

• Responsibility for developing complex electronic modules including processors and FPGA components

• Matrix management and broad collaboration with development, production, procurement, and system teams across the division

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required

• At least 5 years of experience in developing digital or analog electronic circuits with processors or FPGA components, or in logic design for advanced FPGAs – required

• 5 years of experience in hardware, firmware, and software integration – required

• 5 years of experience in signal integrity and high-speed board design – an advantage

• Knowledge and experience in FPGA development including coding, simulations, and hardware integration – a strong advantage

• Experience managing a hardware or FPGA development team – a strong advantage

• Good command of English (speaking, reading, and writing) – required
