The Role

This is a unique opportunity to wear two hats: part operations manager, part business development associate. Half of your time will be spent keeping our internal projects, lab, and team running smoothly. The other half will focus on supporting business development — helping us connect with partners, customers, and investors.

In short: you’ll be the right hand to the CEO — making sure both the science and the business sides of Asterix move faster.

You’ll be the sole person in charge of project management at Asterix, responsible for introducing tools, building structure, and implementing processes across the company. You’ll own our project management in Asana: turning meeting discussions into clear tasks, aligning timelines, and tracking weekly progress. You’ll coordinate team meetings with agendas and summaries, enforce strong documentation in Labguru, and review progress reports in English to make sure nothing slips through the cracks. You’ll also manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and ensure lab operations are handled efficiently.

On the BD side, you’ll research potential customers and partners, build contact lists, prepare presentations and materials for meetings and help us stay on top of opportunities. You’ll be a key partner in making sure our external relationships move forward.

About You

You have proven experience as a project manager, and you’re ready to take full ownership of introducing and implementing project management tools and processes.You’re highly organized, proactive, and love bringing order to chaos. You’re equally comfortable managing internal systems and rolling up your sleeves to dig into research or craft a presentation. Ideally, you have a BSc/MSc in biology or a related field, so you can follow scientific discussions. You’re curious, resourceful, and motivated to grow with the company.
