We track open, deep, and dark web sources including Tor websites, private ransomware IRC channels, Telegram groups, criminal forums, and cybercrime marketplaces to protect organizations from data breaches before damage occurs.

Our platform helps security teams, penetration testers, and incident response analysts uncover exposed credentials, ransomware leaks, and compromised company data being traded on criminal marketplaces. We're trusted by companies worldwide to prevent cybercrime before it happens.

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and work closely with the founder to scale our threat intelligence platform. This is a unique opportunity to have significant impact on a product that protects thousands of organizations from cyber threats.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining the robust backend infrastructure that powers our real-time breach detection system, handling massive amounts of data from diverse sources across the web's darkest corners.

• Design and develop high-performance backend services that process and analyze millions of breach records and threat intelligence data points
• Build scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store data from various sources including dark web forums, paste sites, and ransomware channels
• Optimize database performance using ClickHouse for analytics and time-series data at scale
• Implement robust API services using OpenResty/Nginx and Lua for high-throughput, low-latency requirements
• Develop Python-based microservices for data processing, threat analysis, and pattern recognition
• Ensure system reliability with proper monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures
• Collaborate directly with the founder to shape product direction and technical architecture
• Maintain and optimize our Ubuntu-based infrastructure for maximum performance and security

• 5+ years of backend development experience with production systems at scale
• Expert-level Python proficiency with experience in async programming, data processing, and API development
• Strong ClickHouse expertise including schema design, query optimization, and cluster management
• OpenResty/Nginx and Lua experience for building high-performance web services and request routing
• Ubuntu/Linux systems administration including performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting
• Production experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven design

• Security/cybersecurity background with understanding of threat intelligence, OSINT, or breach analysis
• Experience with SSDB and RocksDB for key-value storage and caching strategies
• Dark web monitoring experience or familiarity with Tor networks and anonymous data sources
• Knowledge of web scraping techniques and anti-detection methods
• Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams)
• Container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
