Responsibilities

• Define control and automation requirements for systems in development
• Select and configure suitable controllers (PLCs, sensors, electronic components, etc.)
• Program PLCs using ladder diagrams and other coding languages as needed
• Integrate control systems with sensors, actuators, and other system components
• Design and connect relevant electronic systems
• Write and maintain complete system command documentation and engineering specifications
• Collaborate with development, electrical, mechanical, and integration teams

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, or a related field. Graduates of recognized engineering technician programs (practical engineers) will also be considered
• Hands-on experience in selecting controllers, PLC programming, and control system development – mandatory
• Proficiency in PLC programming using ladder diagrams and additional languages (e.g., Structured Text, Function Block)
• Knowledge and experience in selecting industrial sensors and electronic components
• Experience in writing and maintaining system specifications and command documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong system-level thinking, and multitasking abilities
