Information Security Manager

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to join a leading healthcare organization in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.

Role Overview

This role carries full responsibility for leading and managing the organization’s information security domain. You will define and implement long-term strategies, evaluate risks, ensure compliance with regulations, establish and update policies, and enhance organizational awareness. The position also includes managing cybersecurity incidents, implementing security controls, supervising supply chain security, and reporting directly to senior management with up-to-date risk assessments and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage information security strategy and operations across the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement policies, controls, and compliance measures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (ISO27001, ISO27799, Privacy Protection Regulations).
• Manage and investigate cybersecurity incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Guide and provide technical instructions to information security teams.
• Lead initiatives and projects aimed at continuously improving organizational defenses.
• Drive employee awareness and foster security culture across all levels.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in information security management.
• Experience in implementing, updating, and monitoring security policies and procedures.
• Hands-on experience in regulated environments (ISO27001, ISO27799, Privacy Protection Regulations).
• Proven background in incident response, including investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to provide clear guidance to security and technology teams.
• Strong familiarity with the healthcare sector – significant advantage.
