Junior scientist - Temporary position

Summary of role and team

We are seeking a motivated Junior Scientist to join our Cell Line Innovation team on a temporary basis as a replacement for a maternity leave. Our team is dedicated to exploring innovative approaches to enhance the performance of proprietary cell lines, with a particular focus on media development.

In this role, you will take part in both wet-lab and computational work (approximately 80% experimental, 20% bioinformatics). You will combine hands-on cell culture and molecular biology with bioinformatics, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Your contributions will directly impact ongoing projects through experiment execution, results analysis, and effective communication of findings to project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilitie

• sCell culture lab work: seeding and passaging cell cultures, cell counting
• .Analysis of biological data sets to produce meaningful and relevant biological connections
• .Preparation of culture media and supplements for experiments
• .Apply molecular biology techniques to address biological questions
• .Collaborate with scientists from other divisions within the company
• .Analyze, document, and present results according to project goals and timelines
