Information Communication Technology Project Manager

We are Looking an experienced ICT Project Manager, a highly skilled and professional technologist with significant experience in planning, managing, and implementing advanced communication and information systems – preferably candidates from the defense sector who are well-acquainted with this environment. This recruitment is for a leading defense company.

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for complex defense projects with high communication demands, working with leading defense organizations, and matrix management of teams and vendors – from requirements definition to full implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, managing, and leading complex defense ICT projects, including communication systems, IT systems, information security, and cyber.
• Translating operational requirements and field needs into practical solutions and actionable tasks for team members.
• Implementing work methodologies and instilling best practices within teams while ensuring adherence to timelines and defense standards.
• Full partnership with the group manager and leading professional interfaces within the organization and with defense clients.
• Preparing engineering documentation, working with schematics, and utilizing advanced management tools.
• Occasional overseas travel as required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing ICT projects in a defense environment.
• Deep understanding of communication technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN), IT systems, and information security/cyber (including encryption and secure systems).
• Experience working with defense and regulatory organizations, including responding to special requirements.
• Strong matrix management skills, team leadership, and experience managing external vendors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – leading discussions, conducting surveys, and presenting topics to management and clients.
• Proficiency in writing technical/engineering documentation and working with schematics and management tools.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCNA Security) – significant advantage.
• Military or defense background – strong advantage.
