Development Quality Engineer

Our quality department is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support our development teams (electronics, harnesses, software, mechanics). The role ensures compliance with industry and customer standards (such as: AS9100 and development standards) by implementing processes, conducting audits, and guiding engineers in building quality into every stage of the development stages until testing and release.

Job Description:

• Implement and maintain quality processes for R&D (including: electronics, harnesses, software, mechanics, and software testing) in line with standards and customer requirements.
• Audit R&D lifecycle processes and support the implementation of improvement activities
• Ensure requirement traceability across design, test, and release stages.
• Provide training and build awareness of quality standards and practices in R&D.
• Participate in design reviews, FMEA, risk assessments, and V&V activities.
• Integrate quality controls into engineering tools (PLM, ERP, Jira/ALM, Git).
• Define and assist in the gathering and tracking KPI’s.

Requirementsף

• B.Sc. in Engineering (Electronics/Software/Mechanical/Quality) or related field.
• 5+ years QA experience in industries such as: aerospace, defense, automotive and with a focus with R&D development life cycles.
• Experience in auditing, corrective actions, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with electronics, harnesses, mechanics, and embedded software.
• Skills in configuration management, requirement traceability, and risk tools (FMEA, hazard analysis).
• Excellent communication and training abilities; fluent English.
