Product Manager - Pollogen

About the role:

This role covers both home-use and professional devices, giving the opportunity to influence products that shape the future of beauty and medical aesthetics in a company that is in the market’s forefront.

The candidate will be expected to take end-to-end ownership of their assigned products — and work with various functions and key stakeholders from concept and ideation, through development, clinical validation, and regulatory submissions, all the way to commercial launch and lifecycle management. They will work cross-functionally with R&D (software, mechanical and electrical engineers), clinical affairs, industrial design, marketing, distributors, and regulatory teams to ensure products meet both market needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle: market research, ideation, definition, development, validation, launch, and post-launch optimizations.
• Define product requirements and translate them into clear PRDs and specifications for R&D and mechanical/electrical design teams.
• Collaborate with clinical and regulatory affairs to support validation studies and submission processes.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive continuous product improvements.
• Serve as the central point of contact for product-related decisions, balancing input from multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure products meet performance, safety, and compliance standards across global markets.

About the ideal candidate:

• 4–5+ years of product management experience, preferably in aesthetics, beauty tech, or medical device industries (consumer or professional).
• Proven track record of managing products from concept to launch.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience working closely with R&D, design, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in a corporate or structured product development environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, life sciences, business, or similar).
• Fluent in English.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 4–5+ years as a Product Manager (not entry-level).
• Experience with at least one product that is both hardware and software-based.
• Proven record managing products’ end-to-end lifecycle (ideation → development → launch).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Background in structured corporate-style environments.
• Comfortable working across clinical, regulatory, R&D, and commercial domains.
• Based locally with ability to work from office 4 days/week.
• Fluent in English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in aesthetic devices, beauty tech, or medical devices (consumer/professional) - major plus
• Direct experience with energy-based devices (RF, EMS, LED, ultrasound, etc.) - major plus
• Experience managing B2B2C products.
• Experience working with international distributors.
• Familiarity with regulatory processes (FDA, CE, NMPA).

Red Flags

• Very limited product management experience (Juniors, <3 years experience).
• Only startup/chaotic environment experience, lacking structured processes.
• Sole exposure to software-based products, SAAS, mobile apps (I’d like to see at least some experience with hardware)
• Prefers fully remote work.
• Limited stakeholder management skills.
