Senior Full Stack Developer

About The Role

We are an agile team building a robust, high-performance web application using Next.js, modern React, and high quality TypeScript. Your role on our team will focus primarily on backend development. As a full-stack developer with a backend specialization, we expect you to take the lead in architecting our backend applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own and lead the architecture of our backend systems - from data modeling and API design to infrastructure planning.
• Collaborate with the Design and Product team to define requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Own the testing, QA, and CI processes to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve your own work and contribute to the improvement of others. We value proactive refactoring and open discussions around new tools, design patterns, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in full-stack development.
• Experience working on agile teams using Scrum methodology.
• Proven experience architecting backend solutions including data modeling, API design, and infrastructure planning
• In depth experience with NodeJS backend development.
• Expert in Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with implementing PaaS and SaaS solutions into your applications (AWS, database providers, queue/job management, etc.)
• Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work autonomously and confidently with minimal guidance.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
• Use Jira and Confluence to track tasks, document processes, and contribute to team knowledge.
• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
