Location: Kibbutz Hannaton (Hybrid, minimum 3x/week in-office)

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-Time (80%)

The Hannaton Educational Center is a dynamic and growing nonprofit in Israel’s Galilee, dedicated to leadership development, pluralism, and social activism. As our organization expands, we are seeking a Resource Development Manager with a strong understanding of the philanthropic landscape in Israel and abroad to help cultivate partnerships and advance our development efforts.

This role will focus on managing and expanding Hannaton’s donor base in North America, while providing general oversight for domestic fundraising and government contract submissions. The Resource Development Manager will work closely with Hannaton’s CEO and the development team, as well as with an Israel-based counterpart who leads local fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with donors, foundations, and philanthropic organizations across North America
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants, major gifts, and institutional partnerships
• Develop compelling grant proposals, donor reports, and fundraising materials in native-level English
• Oversee donor stewardship and engagement, including personalized communication and newsletters
• Maintain and improve resource development systems, including donor databases and reporting structures
• Provide strategic oversight and guidance for domestic fundraising and government contract submissions, working in partnership with a part-time Israel-based counterpart who manages execution

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising within the nonprofit sector
• Deep understanding of the North American culture and philanthropic landscape
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong Hebrew proficiency
• Strong strategic thinking, relationship-building, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an Israel-based team
• Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, and Monday.com
