Lead Mechanical Engineer (R&D) - Hands On

TW Medical is hiring: Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer (R&D), On-site (Omer, Israel)

We’re an Israeli medical-device startup focused on bleeding control. After two years of R&D we launched the LST — our Israeli tourniquet — and we continue to develop, manufacture, and scale it alongside complementary products.

Role

Lead end-to-end development of next-gen LST and related products: design and 3D modeling, materials & processes, prototyping, testing/experiments, troubleshooting, DFM/DFA, full product/production file, and transfer to manufacturing. This is hands-on: lab, bench work, fixtures/jigs, supplier work.

Must-haves

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years industry experience in mechanical development
• Former combat soldier (IDF); advantage: special forces / commando
• SolidWorks proficiency
• Strong hands-on skills (prototyping, shop tools, fixtures), problem-solving, self-learning
• On-site only (no hybrid), Omer Hi-Tech Park; willingness for occasional travel (2–3×/year)

• Startup experience background
• Team/technical leadership experience
