Network Engineer – International High-Tech Company

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot incidents, resolve issues, and provide technical support both remotely and on-site (within Israel only) for company users.
• Perform network configuration changes, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Create and maintain detailed inventory and documentation of network infrastructure.
• Continuously monitor network status, collect insights, and generate metric reports.
• Support global projects and routine tasks in collaboration with cross-organizational IT and infrastructure teams.
• Develop automation processes for global network operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals at CCNA/CCNP level.
• In-depth understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture and topologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment – switches, routers, wireless (enterprise level and data center environments).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills.
• Service-oriented approach toward internal customers.
• Ability to lead projects thoroughly and accurately while meeting deadlines.
• Passion for learning and professional self-development.
• Mobility and ability to travel to remote sites when required.

Advantages:

• Experience with scripting (Python).
• Experience working with Linux systems.
• Practical experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and SDA.
• Experience with security solutions such as SD-WAN, firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortinet), NAC, VPN.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures such as AWS and Azure.
