Assistant Controller - Israel based

AKT, a global HR solutions and services company and one of the largest SAP Cloud People Solutions consulting firms in the EMEA region, is growing and looking for a high-motivated, skilled, independent, and responsible Assistant Controller to become an integral part of our Finance team. As an Assistant Controller, you will be reporting to and working closely with the Director of Finance.

Role and Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting records and Preparation of financial statements.
• Assist with preparation of management reports.
• Assist in analyzing monthly and quarterly budgets Vs Actuals, forecasts and company goals.
• Preparation of annual tax reports and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Work with the Company's external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other matters.
• Monitor the bookkeeping team and review the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining financial key policies, procedures, and controls throughout the entire reporting process.
• Support the accounting team in various tasks and reporting.
• Assist with managing cash flow and preparing ad hoc reports.
• Oversee billing and collection process.
• Oversee daily operations of financial activities and liaise with service providers.

Job Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Audit experience from one of the Big 4 - advantage.
•  1-2 years of post-internship experience in a global company – advantage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
• Strong knowledge of US-GAAP and Israeli GAAP
• Full time position at AKT’s offices in Azrieli Holon, Israel
