System Administrator

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a leading defense organization in Northern Israel.

Role Overview

This role includes responsibility for operating and implementing IT infrastructures in multi-disciplinary computing networks. You will implement solutions, provide ongoing support for diverse IT issues related to communication, hardware, and virtualized environments, and lead monitoring processes to ensure proper implementation of requirements. Documentation and knowledge sharing are key parts of the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and implement IT infrastructures in complex, large-scale environments.
• Implement IT solutions and support troubleshooting for communication, hardware, and virtualization infrastructures.
• Lead monitoring and validation processes to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Document processes and maintain knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams in defense environments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a System Administrator.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure operations and integration of enterprise-scale systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
• Extensive knowledge of networking and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper products.
• Experience in setting up, upgrading, and maintaining VMware virtualization environments (vSphere, vCenter, VRA).
• Ability to write and maintain clear technical documentation.
