Cyber Security Specialist

Commit is seeking a Cyber Security Expert with deep expertise in system security to lead and execute security initiatives that protect our clients' critical IT environments. What You Will Do:

• Lead and manage security projects across enterprise IT environments, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Secure and maintain servers, storage platforms, and network infrastructure, with a focus on availability and resilience.
• Configure and manage Microsoft services, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.
• Perform system hardening for Windows, Linux, SQL, and virtualization platforms following CIS, STIG, or equivalent standards.
• Deploy, configure, and manage advanced security solutions, including NAC, SIEM, EDR, AV, DLP, PKI, and sanitization systems.
• Drive automation of security tasks through scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and provide expert guidance throughout project lifecycles.

What You Bring:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on system security and infrastructure protection.
• Proven track record in leading security projects and delivering end-to-end solutions in complex IT environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO) and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Expertise in system hardening across Windows, Linux, SQL, and virtualization technologies following industry security benchmarks.
• Experience implementing and managing PKI and cryptographic solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security solutions such as SIEM, NAC, EDR, AV, and DLP.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with technical and business teams.
