Senior Product Manager – Backend (E-CiX Platform)

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the Backend domain of E-CiX, a PaaS platform for developing and running advanced C4I systems. The Backend discipline is the core value E-CiX provides its customers and is a meaningful domain in our product.

Role Overview

Joining the infrastructure team as the Senior Product Manager for the Backend domain, a critical area that provides backend services and micro-services to complex software projects. The role requires the ability to deeply understand complex system architecture, process, simplify and communicate operational and business needs into product requirements, and drive direction and prioritization in collaboration with technology leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product management of the Backend domain in E-CiX
• Build and prioritize the product roadmap for both long and short terms
• Work closely and continuously with development teams and system architects
• Translate requirements from C4I projects into backend capabilities, while understanding operational and functional needs
• Define and prioritize micro-services, backend services, APIs, data distribution mechanisms, authentication and identity management, and other core infrastructure components that are fundamental to C4I projects and platforms

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Product Manager in software/technology
• Significant hands-on technical background, with minimum of 5 years of practical experience in backend, system architecture or technology leadership roles
• Deep familiarity with backend and micro-services domains. Experience with technologies such as REST APIs, event-driven systems, Kafka or RabbitMQ, IAM (Identity and Access Management), containers and Kubernetes is a strong advantage
• Ability to conduct professional and balanced discussions with technology leaders - Understanding architecture and engineering considerations while also setting product boundaries, articulating directions and guiding decisions based on Product value rather than purely technical constraints
• Strong skills in managing multiple stakeholders, prioritization and handling complex product roadmaps
• High proficiency in presenting and documenting product materials, with excellent writing skills in both English and Hebrew
