Financial reporting and Accounting Specialist

Summary

Financial reporting and Accounting Specialist will be responsible for multiple aspects of the accounting and reporting of financial statements, which also includes month-end closings, reporting, reconciliations, financial controls, while collaborating closely with business partners from country and above-country FRA teams, country BPAs. Furthermore, responsibilities embrace high quality reporting & reconciliation as per Novartis required standards

About The Role

Key responsibilities:

Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Manage customer accounts, issue invoices and credit notes, and monitor payments
• Perform collections from domestic and international clients
• Execute sales reconciliations and match payments to invoices
• Prepare monthly VAT reports in accordance with local and European regulations
• Work within a SOX-compliant environment, including implementation of internal controls
• Collaborate with global teams across Finance, Sales, Service, and Reporting
• Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Work with SAP ERP systems – mandatory
• Integrate into a professional team while demonstrating continuous learning, mental flexibility, and effective collaboration
  
  

• Certified Bookkeeper – Level 2 minimum (Level 3 preferred)
• Relevant years of experience in customer accounting
• Experience in an international work environment – an advantage
• Full proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• High-level English – mandatory
• Familiarity with SOX compliance – strong advantage
• Strong self-learning ability, teamwork skills, operational agility, and excellent interpersonal communication
