Head of Business Credit

We are looking for an experienced credit manager to lead the SMB business credit domain of a leading financial organization.

This role combines professional authority in credit approval with leadership and business development skills, and involves both headquarters responsibilities and extensive fieldwork with branches and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage business credit for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
• Lead the credit domain across both HQ and branch operations.
• Collaborate with credit officers and economists who handle credit applications and analysis.
• Participate in credit committees with loan approval authority.
• Drive business development and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• At least 5-6 years of experience in managerial roles within a financial organization
• 10 years of proven experience in a credit field, including financial statement review and loan structuring.
• Direct experience in credit committees with approval authority.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage and motivate managers and teams.
• A credit professional with strong leadership and business development skills who can inspire, lead, and deliver
