At Vee, we’re building a new generation of AI-powered teammates that help nonprofits grow faster, raise more, and operate at scale. From Maggie, our social media teammate, to Grant, our grant research copilot — our products are already transforming how hundreds of organizations grow.
We’re now entering our next chapter: scaling our self-serve business into a powerful growth engine that can reach thousands of organizations globally. To do this, we’re hiring a Director of Self-Serve Growth to build and lead the business unit that will generate $10M+ in new ARR newt year through a fully no-touch, product-led motion.
The Role
This is not a “maintain and optimize” role — it’s a build and scale from the ground up mission.
You’ll be responsible for the entire self-serve growth engine:
- Defining the strategy
- Owning the funnel
- Driving revenue through campaigns and product-led tactics
- Building and leading the team to execute at scale
You’ll partner closely with Product, Marketing, Data, and Exec leadership to craft a world-class no-touch experience — one that drives massive top-of-funnel demand, activates users seamlessly, and converts them into long-term customers at scale.
What You'll do:
- Build and own the self-serve growth business unit — set the vision, strategy, targets, and roadmap for scaling ARR beyond $10M through no-touch channels.
- Architect and optimize the entire funnel — from acquisition and activation to monetization and expansion, ensuring scalable, predictable growth.
- Run high-impact campaigns across multiple channels (paid, organic, referral, product) to drive a steady flow of qualified users into the funnel.
- Partner with Product to build frictionless onboarding and self-serve purchase experiences that maximize activation and conversion rates.
- Establish data-driven growth loops and experimentation frameworks to continuously improve performance.
- Build and lead a world-class team — including growth marketers, product growth PMs, analysts, and ops talent — to execute the mission end to end.
- Own revenue goals — track, forecast, and deliver aggressive ARR growth targets through self-serve.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to integrate the self-serve engine into the broader GTM strategy.
If You Are:
- An experienced growth leader — 8+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or product-led strategy, with a proven track record of scaling self-serve revenue streams to $10M+ ARR.
- A PLG expert — you understand the mechanics of product-led growth deeply, from onboarding funnels to monetization loops.
- A business builder — you know how to build a new revenue engine from scratch: strategy, execution, hiring, and scaling.
- A strategic operator — equally comfortable defining high-level strategy and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.
- Data-obsessed — you make decisions grounded in data, and you know how to set up the right instrumentation to see the full picture.
- A team builder and leader — experienced in hiring, mentoring, and scaling high-performance teams.
- Hungry for impact — you thrive in fast-moving environments and love owning ambitious, measurable outcomes.
Bonus if you have a deep familiarity with the nonprofit space in the US.
