We are looking for a UAV Engines Engineer to join IAI’s Military Aircraft Division. This role focuses on piston engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke, multiple fuel types) and covers full responsibility for the
engine systems of UAV platforms.
The position includes:
- Responsibility for all aspects of UAV engine systems
- Leading the process from engine selection, ground testing, and UAV installation design through validation, upgrades, and life extension
- Supporting customers, troubleshooting malfunctions, and investigating incidents
- Implementing improvements and performance upgrades in engine systems
What we’re looking for:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering – required
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with engines – required
- Proven experience with piston engines (2-stroke, 4-stroke, multi-fuel) – required
- High-level English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing) – required
- Proven experience in leading aeromechanical projects
- Strong understanding of maintenance and sustainment concepts
- Willingness to work non-standard hours
