Software Engineering Team Lead

An independent and profitable company in High-Frequency Trading (HFT) develops leading-edge technologies for competitive algorithmic trading, where every microsecond and small technological advantage can mean the difference between success and failure.

The company builds a complete ecosystem including real-time trading infrastructure, algorithms making thousands of decisions per second, risk management layers, and a control system overseeing all company systems and real-time infrastructures.

The company is based in Tel Aviv near a train station, employs 50 people globally, and offers a hybrid model with two days working from home.

The role-

• Manage a team of 5–6 experienced engineers
• Combine hands-on work with code review, guidance, and technical leadership
• Develop a high-performance, low-latency trading system in C++17 on Linux
• Focus on ultra-low latency and high performance, with decision-making on the order of microseconds or less
• Work directly on the company’s trading infrastructure, used by traders in real time

Requirements-

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a leading college or university.
• 3 years experience as a C++ team lead.
• Passion for development of highly optimized code, using advanced C++ language tools and modern methodologies
