AI Engineer

A B2D startup has developed a platform for dynamic and automated cloud resource management on Kubernetes in real time, enabling cost reduction and performance improvement.

The company is based in Tel Aviv near a train line, employs 70 people (about 25 in R&D teams), and is in rapid growth, expected to double its workforce to 150 soon. They have raised $80M from leading investors in Israel and worldwide. Their clients include dozens of companies.

Responsibilities:

• The role is part of a new AI group within the company, focusing on the development and implementation of AI infrastructure at scale.
• Accelerate distributed model training
• Optimize GPU usage in the cloud
• Develop orchestration on Kubernetes
• Build infrastructures for AI workloads
• Integrate AI solutions into the company’s core platform in collaboration with Backend and Product teams
• Tech stack & tools: Python, Go, Large-scale Training, Inference Pipelines, PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Kubernetes, Docker, GPU Scheduling, Distributed Training, Multi-cloud, AI Infrastructure, Resource Optimization.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an AI Infrastructure Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning
• Experience working with GPU-based workloads
• Strong development experience with Cloud environments
