Application Manager

We are looking for an Information Systems Manager savvy in the applications world, for the

management, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of application systems that

support production, logistics, and business management processes of an industrial plant.

The position will be carried out at the customer site, reporting to the company’s IT manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Management and Operation of Application Systems

-Overall responsibility for availability, correctness, and functionality of the application

systems.

-Management of user authorizations, data security, and data quality (GIGO).

-Detection and investigation of malfunctions, problem-solving independently and/or in

cooperation with the IT team.

Internal Support and Service

- Providing continuous support to company users.

- Training, instructing and assisting systems end users.

- Building and analyzing reports according to business needs.

Analysis and Process Improvement

-Comprising Requirements documentation with the various users in the company’s

departments (Sales, Production, Logistics, Finance, and Quality).

-Collecting and analyzing data from MES and ERP systems for monitoring and improving

processes.

-Development and implementation of BI tools to create managerial reports and

dashboards.

-Leading projects to improve work processes through digital solutions.

-Leading the implementation of new solutions and upgrading existing systems.

Coordination Between Organizational Units

-Ongoing work with the organization departments leaders.

-Bridging business needs and technological capabilities.

-Ongoing reporting to the IT Manager regarding systems and projects status and

challenges.

Job Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Information Systems / Relevant field –

Mandatory

- 3+ years of experience in management/implementation of Priority Systems – Mandatory

- Experience working with production floor environment (processes and systems) -

Advantage

- Experience in building reports and n data analysis using tools such as Excel or BI system

– Advantage
