R&D Director

Anakatech is an established and fast-growing international iGaming company. Our subsidiary brand Spinoro is a leading game aggregation platform. Since 2013 we have built one of the industry’s most advanced gaming platforms with a wide range of scratch, lottery and slot games. With teams in Tel Aviv and Sofia, we manage the entire lifecycle from development to operations, delivering outstanding and interactive gaming experiences.

This is a senior leadership role and part of our executive team. You will set the technology vision, lead our development organization in Israel and Bulgaria, and guide our global expansion. You will shape the tech roadmap and have a direct impact on the company’s success and the future of iGaming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the R&D strategy to drive innovation, support business goals and expand the platform;

• Lead and mentor development, QA and DevOps teams, creating a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Oversee the full software lifecycle with modern practices such as Agile, Scrum and CI/CD, ensuring quality, scalability and on-time delivery.

• Manage budgets, resources and performance reviews while continuously improving processes.

• Align technology with business needs by working closely with product, marketing and operations.

• Represent Anakatech at international conferences and bring new ideas into the companyץ

• Explore and use GenAI tools to make development faster, testing easier, and improve the player experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven leadership experience in leading R&D and QA teams in Java/React, ideally within gaming or SaaS.

• Hands-on expertise in modern development practices: Agile/Scrum, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Deep understanding of the iGaming sector, or strong motivation to learn it quickly.

• Excellent leadership, communication and projectmanagement skills with the ability to inspire

multicultural teams and deliver in a fastpaced, global environment.

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and GenAI tools, and ability to adopt them into complex products.
