R&D Business Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced R&D Business Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to design and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports that drive data-led decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Partner with business teams to gather requirements and define KPIs.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.).
• Build and optimise data models, DAX queries, and measures.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and performance across reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting or performance issues.

Requirements

• Proven track record in Power BI development (portfolio of dashboards preferred).
• Strong skills in DAX, data modelling, and integrating multiple data sources.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service (publishing, sharing, workspaces).
• Solid understanding of data visualisation best practices.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Desired

• Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with SQL Server, Azure, or Office 365.
• Understanding of BI governance and security.
