Senior Frontend Developer

We were founded a few months ago and raised a significant seed round of tens of millions of dollars, led by Sequoia and other top-tier VCs.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Lead/Architect to take ownership of the front-end development for our cloud-based systems. The role requires extensive experience in building responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React and other JavaScript frameworks. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing scalable front-end solutions for complex web applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the front-end development and architecture of the platform using React and other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate front-end components with cloud-based microservices.
• Create responsive, performance-optimized user interfaces for complex systems, including dashboards and real-time video features.
• Work with WebRTC to incorporate video and maps functionalities into the platform.
• Participate in the design and implementation of AI-based user experiences.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and ensure code quality through reviews.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on cloud-based systems.
• Proven experience with React and JavaScript (additional JS frameworks is a plus).
• Strong experience building responsive, high-performance web interfaces.
• Familiarity with video integration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and microservices.
• Proven ability to lead front-end projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
