Computer Vision Algorithm Developer

Tevel is solving the major challenge in modern agriculture - the shortage of labor. Tevel is a multidisciplinary and rapidly growing startup that develops and deploys Flying Autonomous Robots (FAR) for fruit picking based on AI technology

Our R&D group works on various multidisciplinary projects to solve the different problems our product is facing. The algorithm team is developing the decisIon- making, perception, and localization capabilities of the FAR using CV, ML ,and much more. We are looking for a talented engineer who will be hands-on in all development procesess: research, implementation, QA ,and production.

In your role, you will:

• Design, improve, and implement algorithms for localization, classification, and tracking of objects in the Image

domain or 3D domain.

• Anayize and quantify the results of different system building blocks and suggest theory-based solutisn for improving

using simulation and field testing.

• Own features and bugs from start to end, from research to field operation.

• Write technical reports and presentations.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of work experience with deep learning, and computer vision algorithms - research and development.

2. At least 3 years of work experience in a production-ready environment.

3. MSc/PhD - Physics \ Mathematics \ Computer Science \ Engineering or other related field. - advantage.

4. Experience in solving problems while using classic CV and ML.

5. Good Python programming skills.

6. Team player.

7. Ability to juggle different types of missions.

8. Good mathematical background.

9. Experience with deep learning frameworks

10. Experience with C++ - advantage.

11. Experience with Kubernetes - advantage.
