CollPlant Biotechnologies is developing technologies in the fields of regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs, and medical aesthetics.
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D department for an exiting and cutting edge technology position. The company is located in Rehovot.
Job description
Working as a member of the Mechanical Team at CollPlant you will:
•Develop 3DP processes in various printing technologies
•Design 3DP tissue-regenerative implants using advanced CAD tools
•Plan, execute, and analyze mechanical tests
•Prepare technical reports and regulatory documents
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (internal and external)
Education and experience requirements
•M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Ph.D. – Advantage)
•Hands-on industry experience of at least 3 years
•Experience with 3D bio-printing and resin-based printing
•Solves technical problems, understands, and meets project timelines
•Interest in scientific and interdisciplinary work
•Deep understanding of the material science of 3D printed parts – Advantage
•Previous knowledge and experience in Finite Element Analysis – Advantage
•Good programming skills in Python, Matlab, or similar – Advantage
•Experience with (or development) of AI tools, automation algorithms and tools, optimization tools, or DoE method and software – Advantage
