Data Science Team Lead

A successful and profitable startup in the Ad-Tech sector, developing an automated platform to optimize mobile advertising campaigns. The platform targets potential app users in real-time with very high accuracy.

The company currently has around 75 employees and is stable and profitable.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, offering a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week.

The role

• Manage a team of 4 Data Scientists responsible for the company’s main product
• Oversee development of new ML models and maintenance of existing ones
• Lead end-to-end model development from research to production
• Ensure the team delivers high-quality, production-ready ML solutions based on XGBoost and classical ML models

Requirements-

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• 1+ year of managerial experience (Team Lead / Tech Lead / Project Lead)
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven experience leading Data Science projects from concept to production
• Proficiency in Python and standard Data Science tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to choose the appropriate approach for each business challenge
• Experience working with large-scale data sets – an advantage
