Purchase Specialist

We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join the operations team at ELTA’s plant in Ashdod.

The position includes:

• Responsibility for procurement for the defense industry.

• Working closely with various interfaces including engineering, quality assurance, finance, and end-to-end logistics.

• Managing negotiations with suppliers both in Israel and abroad.

• Ensuring timely procurement delivery with the required quality.

• Operating according to procurement procedures and defined work processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Economics, or Business Administration – mandatory.

• Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Optics – advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience – mandatory.

• Experience in electronic procurement – advantage.

• Technical understanding and commercial orientation – advantage.

• Proven negotiation skills – mandatory.

• Full proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office – mandatory.

• Familiarity with SAP system – mandatory.

• Knowledge of configuration management system (TCE) – advantage.

• Ability to work in a team and dynamic work environment.

• Willingness to work overtime.

• High-level English skills (speaking, reading, writing) – mandatory.
